The world in miniature, an easy walk for every age
Mini Siam is a park of scale models on Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya. One part, Mini Siam itself, shows famous Thai landmarks — temples, palaces and monuments from around the country — and the other, Mini Europe, adds world landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge and the Statue of Liberty, all shrunk down to a size you can walk around in an hour or two. For first-time visitors to Thailand it doubles as a little preview. You see Wat Arun, the Grand Palace and other temples you may visit later in the trip, laid out side by side, and children often go home asking to see the real ones.
It suits mixed families well. Children like spotting buildings they recognise, grandparents enjoy the gentle pace, and everyone gets the same photo of themselves standing next to a tower. Paths are flat and the visit is short, which makes it a good choice for a lighter day between beach time and bigger outings. Nobody needs to be carried home exhausted.
Choosing your time of day
The park is almost all outdoors with little shade, so the middle of the day can be tiring, especially for small children. Many visitors prefer the later afternoon when the heat starts to ease. Whatever time you pick, a van Pattaya to Mini Siam is a short local ride: from most hotels in Pattaya, Naklua or Jomtien it is under half an hour, and your driver drops you at the main entrance on Sukhumvit Road, so nobody has to cross that busy road on foot.
- Bring hats, water and sun cream for the outdoor paths
- A stroller works fine on the flat walkways
- Agree a pick-up time with the driver, or ask for waiting time in chat
- Save some time for group photos — a giant standing beside a tiny Eiffel Tower never gets old
Pair it with something nearby
Mini Siam sits on the north side of town, so it fits naturally with other North Pattaya and Naklua sights, such as the Sanctuary of Truth or an evening at Terminal 21. If you want a full day with several stops, use our trip planner to list them, and we price the day, including waiting time, in chat before you go.
For a simple there-and-back ride, send your hotel, the number of people and the time you want to go, and we confirm a fixed price for the whole vehicle in chat before the trip. There is no deposit and you pay the driver in cash after the ride. A Van Pattaya to Mini Siam booking in the Toyota Commuter takes up to nine people, so cousins, grandparents and the stroller all go together.
