Send us a pin, not just "Bang Na"
Bang Na is not one place. It is a long, wide district on the south-eastern side of Bangkok, built along Bangna-Trat Road, the main road heading out towards Chonburi and Pattaya. Shopping centres, exhibition halls, housing estates, condo towers and factories all share the same few big roads, and a building on the wrong side of a highway can mean a long loop to the next U-turn. That is why the first thing we ask for is the exact address, a building name or a pin from your maps app.
The good news is that you do not have to cross the middle of Bangkok to get here. Plan on roughly one and a half to two hours from Pattaya, depending on the time of day and how far into the district you are going. Weekday rush hours are the slowest, when commuters fill the same roads you are using, so an early start or a mid-morning arrival is usually the calmer option.
Trade fair at BITEC, or a long day at Mega Bangna
Two names come up again and again in this area. BITEC is the big exhibition and convention centre where trade fairs and large events are held, and on busy show days the roads around it fill up. If you are exhibiting, give us your set-up time rather than the public opening time, and tell us if you are bringing boxes or display material. Mega Bangna is a very large shopping centre further out along the same road, popular for a full day of shopping and eating with the family.
- For BITEC, tell us which hall or entrance you need and the time you must be inside
- Bringing samples, stands or flat-pack shopping home? The van takes eight bags or the equivalent
- Visiting a condo or housing estate? Send the project name as well as the street
- Want the driver to wait or bring you back later? It is priced in chat before you go
Choosing the car for this side of Bangkok
Every Van Pattaya to Bang Na booking is priced for the whole vehicle, and the price includes tolls and fuel. A sedan suits one or two people with light bags. For a family, an exhibition team or anyone moving into a new place with suitcases, the Toyota Commuter van is the safer bet, with nine seats and room for eight bags. The fixed price for your car and address is confirmed in chat before the trip, with no deposit, and you pay the driver in cash after the ride.
Bang Na is also on the way towards the airport side of the city. If your day continues to a flight, mention it, and we can quote the van Pattaya to Bang Na leg together with a Suvarnabhumi drop-off in the same chat.
