A theme park on the far side of Bangkok
Dream World is an amusement park in Pathum Thani, the province just north of Bangkok, out past Rangsit. It mixes roller coasters and water rides with calmer themed gardens, so teenagers and toddlers can both find something. The part most children ask about first is Snow Town, an indoor area kept cold enough for real snow — something a child growing up in the tropics, or on a beach holiday, does not see every day.
From Pattaya it is a long way round. The park sits north of the city, so the road skirts Bangkok rather than crossing its centre, but you should still plan on two and a half to three hours each way, and more if traffic around the capital is heavy. That is the honest picture, and it is why the van matters: the ride is a big slice of the day, and it should be a restful one.
Helping the kids cope with the ride
A long drive with excited children goes better when nobody is squashed. In the Toyota Commuter van every passenger gets a real seat, the bags and stroller go in the back, and a sleepy five-year-old can actually stretch out a little. If someone needs the toilet or a snack, ask the driver — there are service stations along the motorway and pulling in for a few minutes is no trouble.
- Bring a light jumper or jacket for the snow area, especially for small children
- Pack drinks, snacks and a change of clothes for the ride home
- Need a child seat? Tell us the ages when you book and we will say what we can arrange
- Want the same driver to wait and bring you back? That return is priced in chat before you go
What the fixed price covers
There is no published fare for this route, so the price for the whole vehicle is confirmed in chat before the trip. You send us your pickup point in Pattaya, the date and how many are coming, and we reply with a fixed number. It covers tolls and fuel, it is for the vehicle rather than per head, and it does not change on the day. You pay the driver in cash after the ride, with no deposit up front.
Smaller families can ask for a sedan or an SUV; from about five people, or with a stroller and day bags, the van is the comfortable choice. You can read more about the vehicle itself on our private van page. Most people booking a van Pattaya to Dream World want the morning and the evening drive sorted in one message — tell us both legs and we quote them together.
One more thing: tell us roughly what time you want to be at the gate. A Van Pattaya to Dream World pickup is planned backwards from that, so you are not standing in a queue with tired children before the rides have even started.
