Planned around your appointment time
When the day is about a doctor's appointment, the drive should be the last thing you worry about. Send us the appointment time and your pickup address in Pattaya, and we work backwards from it. The drive into central Bangkok takes two to two and a half hours, and Silom gets slow at the start and end of the working day, so we build in a margin. Arriving a little early to a quiet waiting room is better than arriving late and flustered.
BNH Hospital is a private hospital on Convent Road, a short side street off Silom Road. Your driver takes you to the entrance, so you do not have to walk from a main road or look for the right building. Coming up from Pattaya the day before and staying near the hospital is another option, especially for early-morning appointments or tests that ask you not to eat beforehand. Travelling with someone who needs a hand
Often the person with the appointment is not the one doing the planning. If you are booking for a parent or a partner, tell us anything that helps: whether they walk slowly, whether a folding wheelchair or walker needs to come along, whether they get car sick or need a stop on the way. The fare, and getting home again
A Van Pattaya to BNH Hospital booking costs ฿1,900 one way for the whole Toyota Commuter van, which seats nine and is the most comfortable choice for a patient travelling with family. For one patient and one companion, smaller cars start from ฿1,200. Tolls and fuel are included, there is no deposit, and you pay the driver in cash after the ride.
