We start from your appointment time
Tell us the time on your appointment letter, not the time you would like to leave. We work backwards from it: two to two and a half hours from Pattaya to central Bangkok, a margin for Sukhumvit traffic, and time to register at reception. An early appointment means an early pick-up, and we would much rather you sit in the waiting area with a coffee than watch the clock from a traffic jam.
Bumrungrad International Hospital is on Sukhumvit Soi 3, in the Nana area, and is well known for its international patients. The driver brings you to the entrance, so you are not crossing Sukhumvit Road on foot or hunting for the right soi. If you are not feeling your best, that short walk is the part that matters. With a very early appointment, some people prefer to come up the evening before and stay nearby; we can drive you then instead, for the same fare.
Bring someone with you
The fare is for the whole vehicle, so a partner, friend or relative rides along at no extra cost. A day like this is often easier with someone to hold the paperwork, listen to the doctor and think about the trip home. There is space in the van to sit apart and rest on the way back, too. Say if you would like the air conditioning turned down, a quiet drive, or a stop for food or a pharmacy on the way home.
