A villa week starts with getting everyone in one place
Bang Saray is a fishing village on the coast south of Pattaya, in Sattahip district. It has a slower pace than the city: a long, calm shoreline, seafood restaurants built out over the water, and a lot of private pool villas that groups rent for a week of their own company. It is the kind of place where the plan for the day is lunch, then a swim, then another lunch. Fishing boats still work from the pier, which is a big part of why people drive down here for seafood.
The tricky part is the arrival. Eight friends, a pile of suitcases, a couple of crates of drinks bought on the way, and a villa down a lane that does not show up properly on every map. Booking a Van Pattaya to Bang Saray means one vehicle for all of it, so nobody is left waiting for the second taxi.
Getting to the right gate
The drive is short, well under an hour heading south down Sukhumvit Road, past Jomtien and the turn-offs for Silverlake Vineyard and Khao Chi Chan. What takes the time is the last few hundred metres, when villa gates all look alike. Ask your host for the map pin and send it to us; the driver will take you to the gate rather than the nearest main road.
Nong Nooch Garden is on this same stretch of Sukhumvit Road, so a group that wants to see it can stop on the way in. Tell us when you book and we will fit the stop around your villa check-in time; extra stops are part of the price agreed in chat.
- Want to stop at a supermarket on the way? Say so and we will plan it in
- Send the villa's map pin, not just the name, for the smoothest arrival
- Going out for seafood one evening? Book the ride back too, as taxis are scarce
- Flying in? Ask about the airport-to-villa ride in the same chat
Seafood nights and the trip back to town
Once you are settled, Bang Saray's restaurants are the main event, and it is worth knowing that a ride back late in the evening is not as easy to find here as it is in Pattaya. If the group wants a night in the city or a seafood dinner by the pier, book both ways at once. Return rides, waiting time and a day of several stops around the coast are all priced in chat before you go.
The fixed price for the whole vehicle is confirmed in chat before the trip, with fuel included. The Toyota Commuter van takes nine people and eight big bags; a couple heading to a beach hotel may be fine in a sedan. You pay the driver in cash after the ride. To see other places along this coast, browse all our destinations, but for the villa crowd, a van Pattaya to Bang Saray is usually the first booking of the trip.
