Send the building, not just the soi
On Nut is the area around Sukhumvit Soi 77, further east along Sukhumvit Road than the hotel districts, and it is mostly residential: condo towers, apartment blocks and long side streets running off the main road. Many of the people living here are long-stay residents, which is why the request we need is rarely "take me to On Nut" and almost always "take me to this building". On Nut has its own BTS station on the Sukhumvit line, which is a big part of why people choose to live here and ride the train into the centre — so once you are settled, the car is rarely needed again.
So the one thing we ask is this: send the exact address, the building name in English or Thai, and a map pin if you have one. Some sois are long, and one condo tower can look a lot like the next. With a pin, the van Pattaya to On Nut drops you at the lobby rather than somewhere on Sukhumvit with your suitcases on the pavement and a phone in your hand.
Moving with more than a weekend bag
Plenty of rides to this part of Bangkok are small moves: a month in the city after a season in Pattaya, a new lease, a partner joining you with everything they own in three suitcases. The Toyota Commuter van has nine seats and room for eight bags, and with fewer passengers on board there is more space for boxes, a monitor or a folded bike. Tell us roughly what you are bringing so we send the right vehicle the first time.
- Send the building name, soi number and a map pin when you book
- List bulky items in advance: boxes, a bike, a pram, a guitar case
- Check with your condo office whether visitors must register at the gate
- Need a stop on the way, such as collecting keys from an agent? Ask, and it is priced in chat before you go
How your On Nut price is set
On Nut is not on our standard rate table, so we confirm one fixed price for the whole vehicle in chat before the trip, with tolls and fuel included. That price does not change on the day, there is no deposit, and you pay the driver in cash when you arrive. The drive is in line with other Bangkok trips: about two to two and a half hours, with the expressway doing most of the work and traffic deciding the rest.
A couple with light luggage is fine in a sedan; anyone bringing half a household is better off in the van. If you are comparing with a hotel closer to town, our Sukhumvit page covers the stretch nearer the centre. Either way, a Van Pattaya to On Nut booking keeps you and your things in one vehicle, from one front door to the next, with one person to deal with.
