Which part of Sukhumvit, exactly?
“Sukhumvit” can mean a hotel next to Nana, a condo out past On Nut, or a meeting at a mall near Asok. The road runs east from the centre of Bangkok for a long way, and hundreds of numbered side streets — sois — branch off it. Odd-numbered sois sit on one side of the road and even-numbered ones on the other, so Soi 11 and Soi 12 are not neighbours, and a U-turn on Sukhumvit at rush hour can take a while.
That is why the most useful thing you can send us is the precise address: the hotel name, the condo building and tower, or simply a map pin. With that, the driver plans the right approach before leaving Pattaya and takes you to the entrance rather than to the general area. Some condos have their drop-off point on a side lane or behind the building; if you know where it is, tell us, because it saves everyone a lap of the block with the luggage still in the back.
Motorway, expressway, then your lobby
From Pattaya the route is straightforward: the motorway towards Bangkok, then the expressway into the city and down to your soi. Plan on two to two and a half hours. Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the slowest, so if you have a check-in time or a dinner booking, tell us and we will suggest when to leave.

One price for the van, whoever is in it
A private Toyota Commuter van from Pattaya to Sukhumvit costs ฿1,900 one way for the whole vehicle — up to nine people and eight bags. That is the same as our central Bangkok fare. If it is just one or two of you with light luggage, smaller cars start from ฿1,200. Tolls and fuel are included, there is no deposit, and you pay the driver in cash after you arrive.
