Silom, seen from the back seat
Silom is one of Bangkok's main business districts: bank headquarters and office towers along Silom Road, large hotels, and side streets that change character completely after dark when the night markets and bars open. Lumphini Park closes off one end of the area, the BTS Skytrain runs above the main road, and the river is not far beyond the other end. For many visitors coming from Pattaya it is their first proper taste of the city.
Getting in is the slow part. Silom traffic crawls at rush hour and the sois are a maze of one-way turns that confuse even people who live there. That is the practical case for a van Pattaya to Silom: your driver goes to the address you sent rather than the nearest corner of the main road, and you step out at the lobby with your bags instead of dragging them along a busy pavement. Once you are checked in, the Skytrain and MRT stations on Silom Road make it easy to get around the rest of the city without needing a car at all.
When the meeting is at ten
If you are coming in for work, tell us what time you need to be in the building and we set the Pattaya pickup with a margin for traffic. The drive is usually two to two and a half hours, longer on weekday mornings into the city. Some passengers use the time to finish a presentation; others sleep the whole way. Two colleagues with laptops are comfortable in a sedan, and a team of six with sample cases fits the van without anyone holding luggage on their knees.
- Send the hotel or office name with the soi, or drop a map pin in chat
- Arriving before check-in? Ask your hotel to hold the bags while you go out
- Going back the same evening? A return or waiting time is priced in chat before you go
- Flying out of Suvarnabhumi afterwards? Mention it and we quote that leg in the same chat
What ฿1,900 covers
The Van Pattaya to Silom fare is ฿1,900 one way for the whole Toyota Commuter, up to nine people and eight bags, with tolls and fuel included. Smaller cars from ฿1,200 suit couples and solo travellers, and the full table with every vehicle is on this page. There is no deposit: you book in WhatsApp or LINE, and you pay the driver in cash at the end of the ride.
The price is per vehicle, never per person, so a group of friends heading in for a weekend pays the same as a family of three in the same van. If your address sits on the edge of the district and you are not sure it counts as central Bangkok, send it and we confirm before you book. For other parts of the city, see our Pattaya to Bangkok page.
